Almost 70 entries have been received for this year's European Rental Awards, which will be presented at an Awards Dinner on 8 June at the Okura Hotel in Amsterdam during the European Rental Association convention and International rental Exhibition (IRE).

The award entries are now being assessed by the panel of judges and the shortlists and winners will be chosen at the judges meeting in Paris on 16 March. The shortlists will be announced at www.khl.com soon after the meeting.

The award categories that received the greatest number of entries were the ‘Product of the Year', ‘Large Rental Company of the Year', ‘Rental IT Project of the Year' and ‘Rental Safety Award'.

Over 25 entries were received for the ‘new product' award alone, and one of the new award categories - Rental IT Project - attracted over 10 entries.
