The Terex 883 ready for transportation

A recent project for WWL ALS, a specialist in global logistics and freight forwarding, was the transport of a Terex 883 tracked screen machine from Ireland to Kazakhstan.

The machine weighed 32 tonnes and was 14.7 metres long, 3 m wide and 3.4 m high. For the first stage of the project, the machine was transported from a factory in Northern Ireland to a storage unit ready for shipment.

Once it was ready to be shipped, the machine was transported using a semi-low loader to a UK port and loaded onto a vessel. From here it was shipped to Estonia. On arrival the machine was transported via rail to a dispatch location ready to be taken to its final location in Kazakhstan.
