KBR has appointed Andrew “Andy” Summers as group president of its infrastructure, government and power business group, effective from April. He will report to chairman, president and CEO William P. Utt.

Mr Summers joins KBR from engineering and construction services company UGL, where he has served as group president in the Rail and Infrastructure division. His academic qualifications include a first class honours degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Aston, UK in 1984. In 1983, he was awarded the City of Birmingham Queen’s Silver Jubilee Engineering award for excellence in engineering.
