Another positive quarter for Haulotte

18 April 2017

Haulotte's 2017 first quarter sales are up 16 percent compared to the same time period from the previous year. The group achieved consolidated sales of €133.3 million compared to €115 million in 2016. Excluding currency effects, the increase was 15 percent.

The company said activity was driven by sales in Europe, which was up 33 percent. Asia-Pacific (up 2 percent) continued to experience a contrasting situation, dynamic in Southeast Asia and Oceania, but contracting in the Middle East, Haulotte said. "No rebound was observed in Latin America, reporting stable sales compared to the previous year," Haulotte continued. Sales in North America were lower than in the first quarter of 2016 (-20 percent.)

Services and rental activities also increased by 10 percent and 21 percent respectively.
