CTE will launch two truck mounted articulated booms at APEX, taking place in June this year.

The ZED 20.2 is a 20 m working height ‘electrohydraulic’ model. It has a reduced footprint, enhanced stabilisation, zero tail swing, and increased compactness, says the manufacturer. It will be aimed at the emerging markets. More details about the machine are to follow.

The new 20.7 m working height ZED 21 JHV includes the Italian company’s variable jacking stabilisation system, introduced last year on the ZED 20.2 HV model. The system has four elements: narrow or extended, and right or left side only.

“The narrow stabilisation offers the possibility to work in restricted spaces such as roads for public lighting or pruning. With stabilisation reduced to the right or left, the platform is also allowed to operate in the middle of the road, or in public areas or in congested areas,” said a company spokesman. Basket capacity of the machine is 300 kg.

The APEX aerial work platform exhibition, takes place at the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition Centre in the Netherlands, 24-26 June, this year.
