Julian Dyer, heavy crane sales manager for the UK South region at Ainscough, is one of three new sales and marketing team management appointments at the UK's largest crane rental company.

Dyer has 20 years experience in the crane industry, most recently at Terex Demag in the UK. He is based at Ainscough's Hayes depot in West London. "I am pleased to have this opportunity to move back into the hire sector and to join the team at Ainscough with their exceptional fleet and strong reputation. In a tough market it is good to have a product and strong brand and the benefit that brings to our customers and the industry as a whole," Dyer commented.

John Lewis has joined Ainscough's Bristol depot as sales manager for the south west. Lewis is the former owner of Venture Lifting and has more than 40 years of crane industry experience.

Victoria Tonge is Ainscough's new marketing manager, responsible for the full communications mix, including advertising, internal communications and PR.

Commenting on the appointments, George Kesterton, Ainscough sales director, said, "Despite the economic slowdown, Ainscough has continued to maintain a strong presence in the marketplace and John, Julian and Victoria will play key roles in the company's continuing business development."

Ainscough's fleet of more than 500 cranes operates from 30 depots around the UK.
