04 February 2015

Temporary power provider APR Energy has signed 115 MW of extensions on two of its power generation contracts in Indonesia.

APR Energy said its 75 MW Medan contract had been extended through the end of 2015, while its 40 MW Padang contract has been extended through to the second quarter of 2015.

In addition, the company said it had been awarded a contract extension to the first quarter of 2016 on a third site in Nias, together with a 5 MW expansion on that site, bringing its total capacity in the country to 135 MW.

APR Energy Asia Pacific managing director Clive Turton said, “We are very pleased to have renewed our contracts in Indonesia, one of our most important markets.

"This is the third time we have extended contracts and expanded our presence in the country, a testament to the reliability of our solution, a high level of customer satisfaction and the rapidly growing demand for electricity in the region.”
