ARA commits to 'Big Easy' in 2007

The American Rental Association will hold its 2007 Rental Show in New Orleans, as previously scheduled, despite the devastation of the city caused by Hurricane Katrina.

The Ernest N Morial Convention Center in the city will reopen for business by 1 April this year and many of the city's major hotels will have resumed business from January 2006 onwards, reported ARA.

'The members of the ARA want to show their support for the people of New Orleans”, said Allen Morehead, ARA's president, 'and this commitment by the board offers the greatest opportunity to give our exhibitors and attendees the best possible show in 2007.” The exhibitiion takes place on 12-15 February.
