Arden, which also said the move “demonstrates its dynamism and its desire to strengthen its leadership in the attachments market”, added that the complementary nature of the technical know-how in the two companies had driven its purchase of IEV.

“This acquisition is a major strategic step forward for the Arden Equipment to consolidate its prime position as an attachment manufacturer at the national level and establish itself as a leader internationally,” said CEO Xavier Pingret.

Sales and marketing director Daniel Dupuy commented: “IEV’s reputation is well established and is perfectly positioned to complement the premium product ranges manufactured by Arden Equipment.”

Based in Charleville-Mezières in the north of France, Arden serves the public works and bulk recovery sectors as well as demolition and recycling, operating seven subsidiaries in Europe and the USA.
