Armada Dynamics and Ramirent renew software agreement

29 March 2011

Ramirent has renewed its agreement to use Armada Dynamics' rental software system in its eastern and central European businesses.

Norwegian company Armada (formerly known as Aimit) has supplied its EQM Rental System to Ramirent since 2006. The system is being used in Ramirent's operations in Hungary, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Armada Dynamics said the renewed maintenance agreement with Ramirent would see the two companies continue their joint efforts in developing the Armada EQM Rental system.

The news of the renewal with Armada follows an earlier announcement that Ramirent is to pilot Wynne Systems' rental software system in Sweden, which is Ramirent's largest market. Wynne Systems, which is the US developer of the RentalMan software, has European offices in Antwerp and Paris.

"Armada Dynamics is honoured to have the EQM rental software solution validated by such a rental leader as Ramirent", said Bengt Rotheim, general manager of Armada Dynamics.

"We are confident that our continuous partnership in developing the Armada EQM Rental management solution will help strengthening Ramirent's position in the markets where our solution is used, and will enable Ramirent to utilize their equipment and resources in the most efficient way.
