Astec signs-up licensees in China and India

Astec has appointed manufacturing licensees in both China and India. In India it will work with its distributor, TIL, while its partner in China is Xi'an Road Construction Machinery Company (XRMC).

Both companies will manufacture select components for Astec asphalt plants as well as sell and service Astec plants, including its Double Barrel dryers/mixers.

In India, TIL will continue to be Astec's sales agent for all of its models, including its Double Barrel continuous plants. In China meanwhile, XRMC will be Astec's agent for the sale and service of only its Double Barrel plants.

According to Astec, XRMC is China's largest manufacter of hot mix asphalt plants. The 50-year-old company also has a new 780000 ft2 (72500 m2) manufacturing facility.
