France-based ATN has launched the Zebra 16 boom with stabilisers.

It is designed to offer the attributes of an articulated boom and a spider lift. Without the stabilisers the boom can work at a typical 4 degree to 5 degree angle; with the automatically self-levelling stabilisers that increases to 12 degrees.

The 16m working height machine weighs 8 tonnes, 800kg more than its sister model without stabilisers. It has a 9.3m outreach.

The company says the machine opens up the number of applications and can be used anywhere where ground loadings are suitable.
