In France Autaa Levage chose a Terex AC 350 all terrain crane to remove a 3.6 tonne phone connection shelter from the roof of a 90 metre tall building on the outskirts of Paris.

The transport and lifting specialist encountered challenges with the lift, including traffic management restrictions and high winds up to 7 m/s. The structure of the building also presented its own challenges.

To remove the 3.6 tonne shelter from the roof, the crane was rigged with an under hook height of 114.15 m to clear the 90 m rooftop. The job was completed within two days.

Arriving by road from the company's Paris depot in the early morning, the Terex AC 350 was set-up with a luffing jib and sideways superlift configuration with 62 tonnes of counterweight. Main boom was 51.9 m and a 61 m extension was set to give a radius of 30 m.

Autaa Levage operates a fleet of aerial platforms and 45 cranes offering capacities from 25 to 400 tonnes from five locations across France.
