Mobile crane contractor Autokrane Schares, based in Bocholt, North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany, has added a Liebherr LTM 1500-8.1 wheeled mobile telescopic crane to its fleet.

The 500 tonne capacity model has a luffing lattice jib and the Y-guy boom suspension system. It will be used for general handling, bridge installations and prefabricated concrete assembly work. Katrin Schleiting, Autokrane Schares managing director, said, “The crane fits neatly into our existing fleet with a 350 tonner previously being our largest crane. The bigger crane will expand and supplement our portfolio perfectly.”

Autokrane Schares has sites at Bocholt, Essen, Goch and Willich. It has a workforce of 100 and has 45 mobile cranes as well as a range of transport units and work platforms.
