In Russia Avtokran is building rounded section telescopic booms for its cranes

Russian manufacturer Avtokran will showcase truck mounted cranes with U-shaped telescopic booms at Bauma 2013. The company is working in collaboration with its new commercial agent, Namex.

The models include truck cranes in the 16 - 80 tonne capacity range. So far, 500 truck cranes with the U-shaped boom have been sold, the company said.

Production began last year at Avtokran’s Ivanovo plant. More than 4,500 truck crane units are sold in Russia per year. In 2012, Avtokran manufactured 1,772 truck cranes, including cranes with U-shaped booms for the global market, the company said.
