Contractor Balfour Beatty has announced three-year rental equipment agreements with A-Plant, Speedy Hire, Nationwide Platforms and VP.

Speedy said it would deliver rental services to all of Balfour Beatty’s UK operations from an integrated centre in Sheffield.

Speedy CEO Mark Rogerson said, “Speedy’s appointment to this framework is great news. It reflects both our position as the UK’s leading provider of tool hire equipment and our customer-focussed strategy to deliver sustainable profit growth in the UK by driving end-to-end services across our Strategic and Major Accounts.

“As major customers continue to consolidate and streamline their supply chains, this appointment demonstrates that Speedy is well positioned to benefit through its unique ability to deliver integrated products, specialist solutions and services”.
