Balugani to focus on development at Oil & Steel - Falceri heads up product development

Christian Falceri has been appointed as the new product development manager at Oil & Steel. Mr Falceri takes over the role from Paulo Balugani the co-founder of the company who will focus on the long-term international development of Oil & Steel both commercially and technically.

Mr Falceri's has a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Parma, he has been at Oil & Steel since 2008, working on the development of electronics and software products. Oil & Steel describes him as a pragmatic person with excellent analytical and problem solving skills, in his new role he will coordinate product development activities at the head of a well established and integrated team.

Reporting directly to managing director, Andrea Certo, Mr Falceri will lead a team whose activities will cover a wide range of research and development, the evaluation of new technologies for new projects, coordinating further laboratory testing of prototypes and existing products to increase the level of reliability.

Mr Balugani's new focus is designed to better support the objectives of Oil & Steel's long term development. He will be holding the dual role of strategic large-scale development of new products, with the aim to get as close as possible to the market and its needs and technical and commercial management of some important accounts at national and international level.

Mr Balugani will contribute to further spreading the quality, reliability and competitive advantages of the oil & Steel machines, both in Italy and abroad, while collecting and interpreting the needs of the market in order to develop products to match the needs of customers.
