BAM buy-back

01 May 2008

BAM has bought back 1,57 million of its own non-convertible preference shares from ING Bank. The company intends to cancel these shares, subject to the approval of its shareholders, in an attempt to simplify its ownership structure. If this goes ahead, only 96000 of this share type will remain outstanding, and the company plans to buy back as many of these as possible.
