A Barin under bridge inspection unit was called into action on Friday 23 October when a barge crashed into the Lantau Island Link’s Kap Shui Mun Bridge, cutting off Hong Kong International Airport.

Traffic was halted for about two hours and the Barin AB 23/SL unit was called in to inspect the damaged sections of the bridge and to verify the conditions underneath the structure. By 10pm that evening, following the inspection, authorities reopened the bridge, said Barin. (Click on the picture for a further image).
