A new bridge inspection unit from Barin has been put to work on the Thuan Phuoc Bridge in Thailand.

The bucket-type AB 16/S is mounted on a Volvo FM, 370 hp chassis. Its main technical features include a horizontal underbridge reach of 16m, maximum overhead reach of 18.4m, vertical depth unberbridge of 21.6m and the ability to operate over 3.9 m barriers and a sidewalk clearance of 3.8m. Payload is 250 kg.

It was delivered at the beginning of May to customer Danang Municipality mainly for the inspection of the famous Da Nang (Dragon Bridge). But, for now, is working on the Thuan Phuoc, a suspension bridge spanning the Han River, which flows into Danang Bay.

The bridge’s length is 1856m, making it the longest suspension bridge in Vietnam, boasting a width of 18m and four traffic lanes.
