Travel to Munich

The nearest airport is Munich Airport. During Bauma a shuttle bus service will run from the airport to the Trade Fair Centre every 30 minutes. The journey takes 45 minutes and tickets are €8.00 (US$9.00) one-way or €13.50 (US$15.00) for a return journey.

At the airport Shuttle bus stops are located directly in front of the areas A and Z at Terminal 1, and in front of Terminal 2. From 08:00 – 18:00 shuttle busses travelling to the exhibition grounds depart from the airport every 30 minutes. From 9:30-19:00 the shuttle busses run every 30 minutes from the exhibition grounds to the airport. Note: These times are provisional - please refer to the specific information about shuttle bus service during the show.

Taxis from the airport to the Trade Fair Centre cost an agreed fixed rate of € 59.00 (US$ 65.00).

For journeys into Munich city centre from the airport take the S1 or S8 urban rail lines to the Hauptbahnhof (central station) or Ostbahnhof (eastern station) or stations and connections along the route.

Several bus services are also available, serving different parts of the city – check information counters at the airport, depending on your destination. A limited number of hotels offer a shuttle bus service.
