German drilling equipment manufacturer Bauer celebrated its first 25 years in China with the launch of its new CMS 35 drilling rig.
The company's head of sales in China, Richard Li, launched the new machine on day one of Bauma China, saying he believed it could capture up to 15% of the domestic market in its segment.
At the launch ceremony, Li explained that the CMS drilling system was both an economic and environmentally-friendly process, which reduces construction waste, making it perfect for operating in contaminated areas, such as waste dumps and polluted sites.
He also commented that the vertical mixing method shows far better results than the horizontal method, when using the same quantity of cement.
During his speech, Li said, "We are well aware that price and economic performance plays a major role in China's construction industry.
"In the past, we have carefully surveyed the market and found that the majority of soil mixing projects in China are within reach of 35 m depth.
"Our answer to that finding is the brand new CSM 35, assembled in China and mounted to our well proven BS 80 carrier, also manufactured in China."
