German dumper manufacturer Bergmann will launch a new version of one of its 6 t dumpers, show the final production version of its new 10 t crawler dumper, and also exhibit the prototype of a 25 t articulated dump truck, which is a move into heavier duty equipment for the manufacturer.

The 6 t 2060 plus now has an integrated roof with front window with the option of side and rear windows for an enclosed cab. The cab can also be folded down giving a 2.55 m height for transport. Other changes on the updated model include a switch from Kubota to 63 kW four cylinder Cummins engine, and a new sprung rear axle providing a smoother ride.

The 4000 crawler dumper, also using a Cummins engine, was shown as a prototype model last year but is snow in production format, with a 10 t payload and the tracks – manufactured by Bergmann – offering low ground loads of 0.45 kg/cm2 at full load.

Finally, Bergmann will show a prototype 25 t articulated dump truck called the 2500, for applications in mining and tunnelling.
