Best Line Equipment buys Uniontown Industrial Equipment Co.

Pennsylvania-based Best Line Equipment has purchased Uniontown Industrial Equipment, Co., bringing the equipment rental company’s total number of locations to 12.

“We are very excited to move to the western part of Pennsylvania and are looking forward to serving Uniontown and surrounding communities,” the company said.

With 12 locations now under its belt, Best Line plans to open a 13th at the end of the year in West Chester, PA. The new location is currently under construction.

According to the local newspaper Herald-Standard, Uniontown owners Mike Clower, Robert Hess and Tammy Mauk will stay with the company, as will current employees. Best Line plans to hire more staff in the coming year.

Best Line Equipment was founded in 1985 in Muncy, PA by Michael Houseknecht. The company rents more than 30 brands and has a team of 350 employees.
