Bilfinger Berger to change company status

Bilfinger Berger AG has announced that it intends to become a Societas Europea (SE) public limited company in 2010.

Subject to approval by the Board, a presentation about the change in status will be made at the company's next Annual General Meeting on 15 April 2010.

A statement said the transformation reflects the substantial growth in the importance of Bilfinger Berger's Europe-wide activities as a Multi-service Group.
