BKL completes Tegernsee brewery job

Two cranes supplied by BKL have completed work on the Ducal Bavarian brewery, Tegernsee (Herzoglich Bayerisches Brauhaus Tegernsee), in Germany.
BKL Munich, the headquarters of German crane provider BKL Baukran Logistik, supplied the project with a pair of top slewing cranes from Linden Comansa – a 21LC290 with a radius of 64.5 metres, a hook height of 37.2 m and a peak load of 3.7 tonnes; and a 16LC260 12 PowerLift with a radius of 55 m, a hook height of 26.5 m and a peak load of 4.2 tonnes.
Erwin Daschinger, head of the tower crane rental department at BKL, said, “The flat top tower cranes from Linden Comansa were the most economical solution, as for one thing very heavy load had to be lifted into position precisely and for another thing high performance should be achieved for daily operations.”
The disassembly of both machines is expected to be accomplished by a BKL team of four mechanics using proprietary mobile cranes and lorries after one year operating time.
The cranes are part of BKL’s crane park, which contains more than 350 tower cranes from Linden Comansa, Liebherr, Potain, Wolffkran and Cattaneo.
