BM Location buys Cheraki

22 April 2008

Bergerat Monnoyeur Location has acquired the rental business Cheraki
in the south east of France for an undisclosed price. Cheraki is a family owned
business with 17 rental depots.

Not included in the sale is Cheraki’s Doosan Infracore dealership, which
will remain in the ownership of the Cheraki family under the Paca Ventes
name.

The acquisition boosts BM Location’s network in France to 97 depots. A
spokesperson for the Paris-based rental company – which is owned by
Caterpillar dealer Bergerat Monnoyeur - told IRN that the acquired business
would be rebranded as Cat Rental Stores by the middle of this year.

The spokesperson said the acquisition was a good fit for BM
Location because it was not well represented in the south east of
France.

It was reported in France that BM Location planned further expansion,
either through opening new depots or cquisitions.
