Bob Nelson to lead JLG's US sales and service team

JLG has appointed Bob Nelson as vice-president, field sales and service for North America. In his new role, Mr Nelson will lead the North American regions in the development and implementation of sales, market development and field support initiatives for JLG. This position was formerly held by Brent Yohn, who recently accepted the position of vice president and general manager for the Jerr-Dan Corporation, which, like JLG, is also an Oshkosh Corporation company.

Chris Mellott, JLG Industries vice president said, "Throughout his career at JLG, Bob has exhibited strong sales and service leadership. In his expanded role, Bob will ensure that JLG field sales and service teams continue to deliver and improve upon the world-class support our customers have come to expect."

Mr Nelson began his career with JLG in 2003, following the acquisition of the OmniQuip Corporation, where he was regional sales manager in 2007 he was promoted to regional vice president where he was responsible for all field sales and service personnel in the Mid-Atlantic region. Mr Nelson holds a bachelor's degree from Purdue University.
