Bobcat has completed the redesign of its range of 12 telehandlers.

Bobcat has completed a 24 month programme to redesign its entire telehandler range comprising 12 models with maximum lifting heights of 5.2 to 17.4 m.

The Teir III engine handlers are built on a common platforms, with the main components and control points situated in the same place on every model, and enhancements have been wide ranging, including a substantial reduction in operating noise - such as an 8 dBA reduction when steering - and improved electronics through the use of a new drive controller.

The design of the throttle cable has been modified and a new rear boom design eliminates any hose interference. Other changes comprise wider spacing of hydraulic couplers on the booms to make it easier to connect and disconnect attachments.

"The continuous development of the Bobcat range of telehandlers over the last 24 months has resulted in completely enhanced machines, which can be distinguished from previous versions by a new colour scheme", said Bobcat, "As well as being more aesthetically appealing, the white on the boom and orange used for the counterweight at the rear of the machines in the new colour scheme aligns them with the designs used on the other products in the Bobcat range."
