Boels invests in Atlas Copco generators

Dutch rental company Boels has expanded its fleet with the purchase around 500 generators and portable compressors from manufacturer Atlas Copco for €7.1 million.

Atlas Copco said the products would be rented to construction end-users across Europe and covered for service by Atlas Copco’s Construction Technique Service division.

“We are delighted that Boels Rental continues to show great faith in our products and our local organizations,” said Andrew Walker, president of Atlas Copco’s Construction Technique business area.

“Partnering with forward-thinking companies such as Boels Rental is paramount to our continued development as a business area, and we look forward to continue helping their construction customers be as productive as possible.”

Headquartered in Sittard, Netherlands, Boels Rental has more than 340 stores across Europe with primary markets being the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland, Italy and Slovakia.
