Brazilian rental event scheduled for 26-27 November.

ALEC, the Brazilian rental association, is holding a rental exhibition and conference in São Paulo on 26-27 November.

The event will comprise a two-day conference, Alugar Brazil (Rental Brazil), at the Quality Resort & Convention Center in Itupeva, alongside the FELOC rental exhibition.

Around 26 exhibitors have confirmed their participation in the event, including Atlas Copco, Bosch, Briggs & Stratton Brazil, Chicago Pneumatic, DeWalt, Husqvarna, JLG, Makita, Multiquip and Saint-Gobain.

Conference speakers include Jose Carlos Martins, vice-president of the Brazilian construction industry chamber of commerce; Durval C Gasparetti, president of ALEC (the Brazilian equipment rental association); and a speaker from construction manufacturers association Sobratema, who will discuss construction investment in Brazil up to 2016.
