Brokk demolition and service centre

Brokk expands its North American coverage with new demolition and service centre in Missouri, US

Sweden-based manufacturer Brokk has opened a new demonstration and service centre in Missouri, USA.

The 900 sq m (10,000 sq ft) facility was purchased to accommodate both Brokk and hydrodemolition equipment manufacturer Aquajet Systems, which Brokk acquired in 2016. The centre houses an extensive inventory for both companies, including a Brokk service fleet of over 20 machines, for demonstrations, purchase or lease.

The centre incorporates outdoor grounds with various concrete structures, including simulated Department of Transportation materials and steel reinforcement configurations for demonstrations. The company said it will give customers the opportunity of a hands-on experience, to help them choose the equipment best suited to their needs.

Lars Lindgren, president of Brokk, said: “The demonstration and service centre allows Brokk and Aquajet to better support our customers across the US and Canada with quicker delivery times, faster service response, and access to our entire service fleet for a try-before-you-buy option.”

Lars added: “It is a place for Brokk and Aquajet customers to learn about our products, our company and become part of an enhanced demolition experience.”

Additional staff have also been employed by Brokk. As part of its North American expansion, Randy Glidewell has been appointed to the position of fleet service manager and Mike Brott joins the company as a service technician.

In addition to demonstration facilities, the new site also offers a complete service complex, which the company said would allow for more convenient access and quicker service turnaround times.

The manufacturer plans to host two open house demonstrations in conjunction with Brokk and Aquajet Demo Days later this year.
