Buchtmann chooses Bluelift

Buchtmann, based in Germany, has added a Bluelift SA 22 tracked platform to its rental fleet.

During the handover at Ruthmann Italia, the Bluelift brand’s parent company in Montescudo, Italy, Buchtmann junior manager Maik Buchtmann, said, “After extensive research, we decided on Ruthmann’s Blulift SA 22. This model is perfectly tailored to the needs of our rental customers and is a significant improvement over the Bluelift C 22 currently in our rental line up.”

The SA 22 has a 22m working height and lateral outreach of up to 10.9m at 100kg basket load. The maximum basket load capacity is 250 kg. The dimensions of the basket are1.3 m x 0.7 m x 1.1 m – enough room for two people with tools. The work basket comes equipped with a 230 V power supply.

Its compact design, means it comes in at 0.94 m wide, 1.97 m high, 4.52 m long and weighs 2,990 kg and can be transported on a utility trailer.

There are around 700 units in Buchtmann’s rental fleet, including scissor lifts, telehandlers, tracked platforms truck mounts including Ruthmann Steigers. In addition to the head office in Delmenhorst, the company also has branch offices in Hamburg and Papenburg.
