Calder Hall update

10 April 2008

D&Ri apologises unreservably for the incorrect attribution for the Calder Hall blowdown to UK contractor Controlled Group in the report published in the November- December issue.

Personnel from US explosive specialist Controlled Demolition Inc, out of Phoenix, Maryland, in fact carried out the explosive side of the demolition at the Sellafield site.

I wish to extend my apologies to CDI president Mark Loizeaux and the rest of his team.
