Canadian companies Grues n' Rick and Mega Lift Canada Company, which specialise in lifting and heavy haul services, have taken delivery of a Galizia GF200 electric pick and carry crane.

The 20 tonne capacity GF200 is the first electric crane to join the Canadian fleet.

Henrik Daunais, president of the companies, said, "To keep up with the market demands and environmental concerns, the electric crane proved to be a product of interest. Me and Mr Bonoit Forest [partner of Daunais] have bought the Galizia crane having seen and tested in person the GF200 during the Bauma fair."

Fabio Vercelli, Galizia, said, “Mr Dunais tested his GF200 pick and carry crane ready to be delivered on our yard setup for testing and I felt a great enthusiasm from his side. He appreciated the innovative two front motors system, the compactness of the crane, the lifting performance and the extreme graduality of the movements.

“Both our companies are sure to continue to co-operate in the near future.”

The GF200 has an hydraulic winch, hydraulic jib, double joystick and battery charger on board.
