Cranes and Transport Middle East

A preliminary programme for the first Cranes and Transport Middle East (CATME) conference is now available. CATME, organised by International Cranes and Specialized Transport magazine and KHL group, will be a high-level, one-day conference focused on the safety and productivity of lifting and transport operations. It will be on 8 December 2016 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Cranes and Transport Middle East (CATME) is a learning and networking event for anyone working in the region’s crane and specialized transport sector. The conference is free for industry delegates and will cover a wide range of equipment and markets.

Key topics to be discussed include: Improving health and safety in lifting and transport; increasing fleet management efficiency; enhancing equipment productivity, highlighting best practice advice and case studies from around the world.

The Middle East remains one of the world’s most active construction and infrastructure markets. Governments continue to invest heavily in transport, utilities and ports, and are making efforts to diversify their economies beyond their reliance on hydrocarbons. There will be enormous demand for lifting and specialized transport services.

The Conrad Dubai is a high level hotel and conference venue in the financial and shopping district. It is a 20 minute drive from Dubai International Airport.
