CEWEF speaker to look at innovation in heavy equipment logistics

Bart Witzier, business development manager at Van der Vlist Transport Group will speak on innovative approaches to logistics in the heavy equipment sector at the forthcoming CEWEF. The event will take place in Brussels, Belgium from 1 - 2 October.
Mr Witzier holds a degree in industrial engineering and logistics management and has 13 years experience in the sector with Van der Vlist. His areas of expertise include an in-depth technical knowledge of the assembly, modification and testing processes for heavy equipment when it comes to planning complex road, rail and sea transportation.
The Van der Vlist Group was founded in 1930 and is now recognised as a market leader within the abnormal load and heavy haulage industry. Its capabilities in Europe include storage and port facilities, project management expertise and fully-equipped assembly, maintenance, modification and inspection workshops.

The conference will feature speakers from major construction equipment manufacturers, end users in the construction sector, major buyers such as rental companies and other key stakeholders.
As well as looking at innovation in the construction equipment sector, and the opportunity for greater commercial advantage for equipment owners through new technology and asset management techniques, the conference will consider other opportunities in the wider industry.
