Changes at the top for Ramirent

Finnish rental company Ramirent has appointed Erik Bengtsson as executive vice president, Sweden & Denmark, group fleet and sourcing, who will begin his role on 1 September.

Bengtsson has been a member of the Ramirent board of directors since 2017 but will leave that role at the end of the month. He previously worked for Cramo between 2005 and 2015. Bengtsson’s 10-year stint at the rental company ended as executive vice president, Scandinavia.

Current executive vice president of group fleet & sourcing Dino Leistenschneider will report to Bengtsson, continuing as head of group fleet & sourcing.

Meanwhile, the company has also created a new position of executive vice president, group business development, and Jonas Söderkvist will take up the role on 1 September. Currently executive vice president of Sweden and Denmark, Söderkvist’s new role will see him responsible for group strategy, mergers and acquisitions, new business development, IT and digitalisation.
