International construction equipment manufacturer Chicago Pneumatic has appointed CE Rental as its new authorised distributor in Finland.

With nearly 20 years’ experience in the Finnish rental industry, the company will support Chicago Pneumatic by distributing its range of RX hydraulic breakers, RC compactors, compaction plates and hand held hydraulic tools to customers seeking short or long-term hire options.

“We had been looking for prime products to widen our offering for a long time, and decided on Chicago Pneumatic, because it offers high quality, durable and competitively priced construction equipment”, said Kari Halmela, product manager at CE Rental.

He added: “We have been offering Chicago Pneumatic products for about six months now, which have been very well received so far with customer feedback being nothing but positive.”

CE Rental is a subsidiary of Mateko, which imports, sells and distributes ground construction equipment. Its operation covers everything from repair and maintenance to spare parts and user instruction through four workshops in Espoo, Pirkkala, Oulu and Seinäjoki and a country-wide service network.

Founded in 1996, the company has a turnover of €22 million and a team of 30 employees.

“We are very pleased to be working with CE Rental Oy who will bring our tools within easy reach of customers in Finland,” said Ralf Majchrzak, business development manager for Chicago Pneumatic in Scandinavia and the Baltics.

“It has the skills and parts required to expertly maintain the equipment and ensure that the customers can make the most of their Chicago Pneumatic construction tools.”
