Christoph Kaml to be Palfinger's chief financial officer

Palfinger has brought its management board up to four members again with the appointment of Christoph Kaml as chief financial officer. The other members of the team are Herbert Ortner and Wolfgang Pilz who have been chief marketing officers since 2003 - Mr Ortner was made CEO in June 2008 - and Martin Zender who has been chief operating officer since January this year.

Mr Kaml joined Palfinger in 2004 and since 2006 has been on the management team in the North American sales area where he was responsible for finance, strategy and business development.

Wolfgang Anzengruber, the outgoing CFO, will hand over his responsibilities to Mr Ortner at the end of August, he will hold the office on an interim basis untill Mr Pilz moves into Palfinger's Austrian headquarters at the beginning in 2009.
