Dave Cheshire, who literally wrote the book on sustainability and the built environment, joins panel

David Cheshire, director, AECOM

David Cheshire, a director at AECOM, has been named as a panellist on The Price of Green Construction, the inaugural sustainability in construction webinar from Construction Europe on 7 October, 2021.

He joins fellow panellist Ian Riley, CEO of the World Cement Association, in discussing methods and materials construction businesses can use to move towards the goal of net zero carbon emissions.

Cheshire specialises in sustainability in the built environment and is the author of Building Revolutions, a RIBA Publications book that explains how to apply the circular economy to the built environment.

The hierarchy proposed in Building Revolutions is referenced in the latest London Plan consultation and Cheshire is currently working with the Greater London Authority to implement the Circular Economy Statement Guidance.

You can register for this free event here.

A second edition of his book, Handbook to Building a Circular Economy, with new case studies and insights, is also now available.

A third panellist for the webinar will be announced soon.
