Kiloutou said this plan had been in place for the last two years and, since the arrival of the new majority shareholders in 2017 when HLDI and HLD Europe took over the company, the change was imminent.

Colleau’s aim is to continue the company’s growth in France and the rest of Europe, said the company. The 47-year-old began his career in 1995 at Bain & Company where he led strategy consulting assignments, mainly in industry, distribution and consumer goods. In 2006 he became director of business development at Zodiac Marine & Pool.

The new CEO joined Kiloutou in 2009 as director of strategy and development in charge of external growth operations, and in 2011 became director of the company’s French operations. He was then appointed managing director for France in 2016.
