New up-turned safety net catches imagination

Combisafe has applied adaptations developed in the Gulf region to its own safety net systems to introduce a new maxi safety net fan (SNF). The safety requirements demanded in the UAE led to the development of the new system, which was designed specifically for high rise projects in built-up areas where there was an increased risk to the general public from falling objects.

The 2 m turned-up section on the outer reaches of the maxi fan increases containment, particularly of lighter objects that fall into the net. Furthermore, windblown debris that might otherwise leave the building is caught in the raised section and deflected into the main body of the net.

The maxi SNF has attained the same EN 1263 compliance as the 3 m horizontal section of the net. All components of the maxi SNF are interchangeable with the company’s standard SNF so that users enjoy complete versatility and simplicity of erection and dismantling.
