Concor offer

South Africa: Murray &Roberts, one of Africa's largest construction companies, has made an offer to acquire fellow South African contractor Concor. German contractor Hochtief owns 49.99% of Concor, with the remaining 51.01% being under South African ownership. The offer of ZAR 22.30 (US$ 3.39) per share values Concor at ZAR 298 million (US$ 45 million). Concor had sales of ZAR 1.4 billion (US$ 213 million) in 2003.
