Swedish access company the Alimak Group has received a SEK 17 million (€1.8 million) order from Turkey for 23 construction hoists to be delivered during the fourth quarter of 2015.

The order is for construction hoists in both single and twin cage configurations.

“We are proud to announce this new order for construction hoists tailored to our customer´s need for fast, efficient and above all safer vertical access in different construction development projects,” said Fredrik Betts, executive vice president and head of construction equipment.

Alimak said that most of its construction hoists are based on modular designs, which provide flexibility in both size and capacity for use in a variety of applications, including construction and refurbishment of high-rise buildings, bridges, chimneys and façades.

The company added that its modular designs also mean reduced time erecting the equipment and optimised maintenance costs.
