Contract renewed for Palfinger CEO

The Supervisory Board of Palginer AG has unanimously reappointed Andreas Klauser ahead of schedule as CEO.

The contract of CEO Andreas Klauser has been extended ahead of schedule for a further five years.

“I am pleased that in the coming years Palfinger will continue to follow the future driven course of renewal successfully set by Andreas Klauser,” said Hubert Palfinger, chairman of the Supervisory Board.

Klauser started his career in 1990 at Steyr Landmaschinentechnik and was responsible for the reorganization of sales in Eastern Europe after the takeover by Case Corporation. Following the merger of Case with New Holland to form CNH in 2000, he became business director Central Europe, brand president and member of the board of CNH Industrial in 2009, and also chief operation officer of the EMEA region in 2013.

In the four years that Klauser has headed the crane and lifting solutions business, the company has set records in revenues and earnings in both 2019 as well as 2021. Looking ahead, Palfinger will be implementing its “Strategy 2030” with goals to initiate a comprehensive digitalization of all divisions and continued success.

“As a result, we at Palfinger have set ourselves clear corporate and financial targets: In 2030, we are aiming for a revenue of three billion euros,” added Klauser. “As CEO, I am proud to make a key contribution to further sustainable growth and to ensure the successful implementation of our strategy.”
