Control for attachments

25 April 2008

As an accessory for crawler mounted and wheeled construction machines, Canadian Axiomatic Technologies Corporation has launched a proportional control module. The device controls a machine attachment and gives additional control outputs for other accessory functions.

Existing input buttons on the joystick in the machine cab and switches on the instrument panel offer more flexibility.

The main purpose of the control is to provide regulated current outputs to drive multiple pilot valves on the machine hydraulics. Left-and right-hand joystick swap over and other functions can be used for specific applications. An RS-232 port is used for configuring parameters. Diagnostics via a PC and CANbus communications are available.
