Australian rental company Cosa Crane Hire has purchased its second Zoomlion truck crane in 12 months.

Cosa Crane purchased its first Zoomlion QY40 truck crane late last year and went on to acquire a second truck crane, this time a 50 tonne capacity QY50, from the Chinese manufacturer's distributor Gleason Cranes a few months later. The company now operates a fleet of six cranes.

Based in Horsham in Victoria's western district, Cosa Crane Hire grew out of Cosa Engineering. Owner, Clint McClure bought his first crane, a Franna, in 2008 and from there the crane aspect of the business has been on a steady growth path, said the company.

As a part of the company's commitment to growth, Cosa Crane Hire has also purchased IBW Crane Hire in Katherine, in Australia's Northern Territory.
