UK-based vehicle mounted platform specialist CPL has delivered its 1000th conversion to long-standing customer Access Hire Nationwide.

This landmark platform was placed on a pick up, for which CPL is known. Cumberland Platforms (CPL) has been serving the utility, rental, telecoms and arborist sector since 2011, and was acquired by France-based Klubb Group in February 2018. It has an annual  turnover of €80 million, 350 employees and produces more than 1,400 aerial platforms each year. CPL had been Klubb’s UK dealer until the acquisition and is now also a leading provider of van mounts in the market.

Paul Murphy, managing director of CPL, said, ”We are delighted that CPL has reached this milestone within the short time that the company has traded. We could not have done it without our fantastic team. Everyone here has helped to make the company the success it is today which makes me very proud to be the managing director. We have listened to our customers and grown with them. Therefore, we are growing to be the market leaders in the UK.’’
