Manitowoc has acquired Shirke Construction Equipments Pvt for an undisclosed sum. Headquartered in Pune, India, Shirke manufactures Manitowoc's Potain tower cranes under licence and distributes them in India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bangladesh, and Bhutan. the company will now operate as Potain India Pvt and continue to manufacture tower cranes under the Potain name.
